How we started

We started Decorative Mirrors Online in 2010, more by accident than by design!

With a background in interior design we had always been passionate about mirrors and the transformation they can bring to any room. But when we was looking for new mirrors for our own house, we struggled to find them on the high street or online.

The founders of Decorative Mirrors Online, are passionate about mirrors and the transformation that they can bring to a house. When searching for mirrors for their own home, they struggled to find high street stores that had enough choice of sizes and styles, finding with on-line sellers that it was difficult to imagine the mirrors in their own home because the images were so poor. As a result of their personal experience, they set up Decorative Mirrors Online with the aim of making buying mirrors as straight forward as possible.

Having trained as a professional picture framer, the founders really know how to use frames to create drama and interest and they are always on the hunt to find new and interesting mouldings. Only mirrors that they absolutely love and that meet their stringent quality criteria are included in the range. From huge floor standing mirrors and ornate fireplace mirrors to opulent art deco and striking contemporary mirrors, there’s a wide choice of styles and sizes to suit different spaces, all shown in real homes to help you imagine them in your own home.

The founders have had a passion for mirrors for many years and are fanatical about delivering great customer service and building customer relationships.
